In spite of major travel limitations resulting from the international flight embargo ITC has successfully attended as exhibitor at the Hannover Messe 2010. A special highlight was the ITC-booth with a new design and new colours.

The worldwide most important industrial fair, which had to record enormous losses of exhibitor participation and visitor attendance due to the volcanic eruption in Iceland and the consequent flight ban, will go down in history as the "volcano event".



However, the volcanic ash cloud could not paralyzed HANNOVER MESSE. To the contrary: The Deutsche Messe organization and ITC as one of the exhibitors were totally committed to making this HANNOVER MESSE a success. After the first days of low visitor attendance the number of guests has increased enormously. Our loyal customers have found a way to visit us at the Hannover Messe. Most of them had to undertake a hard travel of several hours by car.



Finally, ITC could benefit once again from the Hannover Messe as platform to obtain new projects, for cultivation and development of existing business relations as well as to establish new contacts with customers and business partners.

Beside of the traditional yearly visit of the mayor and the Landrat (county commission) of the region Hildesheim, we had the pleasure to welcome the Finance Minister of Lower Saxony, Mr. Hartmut Moellring at our booth.



This year"s HANNOVER MESSE, staged under the keynote motto of "Efficiency, Innovation, Sustainability," accommodated more than 4 800 exhibitors from 64 countries. The total visitor count of 150 000 was roughly 20 percent below the previous year"s figure. Attendance from Asia and North America suffered the most.
